When it comes to ooey gooey soft-baked cookies “I am obsessed” will be an understatement. My blogger-name (Molten cookie dough) should give you some evidence of that. Living in a small town of India has made it quite difficult for me to find some good quality cookies in the recent years.
After trying assorted cookies from Dohful and Ditch The Guilt, I was on the mission to find something which was more budget friendly and I could share with my family and friends. As I had already made a purchase from Instagram ad, I was getting exposed to many other similar brands that are popular in India for selling cookies. Cocosutra’s ad caught my attention from there.
This was also the time, when I started taking interest in baking… And I have been looking for some good quality cookie mix that i could use to bake cookies at home. My two main requirements were that the recipe would be completely vegetarian and could be made with ingredients available in the Indian pantry.
Cocosutra cookies looked delicious but I decided to give their cookie mixes a try as it was checking all my boxes!

I got a really good deal on Amazon and bought the pack of 4 different cookie mixes, instead of the original price of Rs 800.
For all the 4 varieties, you just need ghee/oil and plain yogurt- except for the oatmeal chocolate chunk which needs some ripe bananas.
- Chunky Chocolate Chip: 8.5/10:
This was one of my most favorite ones. I made both soft-baked and crunchy (the darker ones) cookies from this cookie mix. My family absolutely loved it! I was pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of premium quality chocolate chunk in the mix. Every time we made this, we finished it up within half an hour of baking them. It’s that good!

2. Fudgy Brownie: 9/10
Fudgy brownie did justice to its name. I was skeptical whether it would have the strong smell of ghee after baking and there was none!
I made them only in soft-baked version and enjoyed with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
3. Whole wheat Oatmeal Choco-chunk: 8.2/10
This was the only mix which needed ripe bananas for making it. One again I was blown away by the quality and perfection of the cookie mix, it had the same amount of chocolate chunks as the 1st one.

4. Espresso Chocolate Chunk: 8.2/10
With a hint of coffee flavor, this was too was a delight to bake and devour! It had a slight hint of coffee flavor and lot of chocolates in it (which might not be visible in the picture).
My Final Thoughts:
As a novice baker and cookie enthusiast I thoroughly enjoyed baking these wonderful cookies from Cocosutra Cookie mix. The instructions were the easiest to follow and there was no compromise in the taste. If you too have troubles in sourcing good quality raw materials for baking some scrumptious cookies at home, you can give this a try. To be honest, I found the original price a little higher than my budget… It must not be easy to offer a premium quality product in a cheap price, I hope that Cocosutra would launch some new cookie mixes in near future in affordable price range.
